How to write news???
Nowadays we think about the latest news in the world and show business. We are all wondering what is going on in the Brad Pitt`s house, what is going to be the latest song of Lady Gaga. We are all wondering when are the terrorism, murders, and robberies going to stop. But we are not wondering how do the journalists come to the latest news, and what do they actually have to do to find out what is happening wherever in the world.
First, journalist has to know what they are looking for. It is sure that they have to be introduced in the latest stories. So they have to read all the latest newspapers, watch TV news, and listen to radio news. They also have to be in touch with random people, because they are very valuable source of information. They have also someone inside the latest happenings, so they can find out some information faster than others.
And the equipment? What does every journalist have? I think that your first thought is that he has many paper sheets, a pen, and photo camera. But that is not all. They have to be very patient while they are waiting something new to happen. Do you think that the news would be served on the plate, just for them? That is not true. They sometimes have to wait for several hours, or even several days in front of Brad Pitt` s house just to take a picture of Pitt`s family fight. I guess that you thought the job of journalist is quiet easy. It isn`t. They usually spend most of the time in their office just to write few words about something that even might not be true (the source of information can`t be always right!). The worst thing about this job is that the journalists spend most of their time at work separate from their family.
Maybe you can handle with this, but there is one special type of journalist which is probably the worst job you can have. Can you imagine how hard is to be a journalist in the war? Yes, I bet it is. I think it is really hard to write news while the bullets are flying near your head. You always think about your family, and you often wonder:”Will I be alive tomorrow?” They are always very careful, and they know how to get out of a big problem, just as being hostage. It is sure that not every journalist can work their job in the war.
Being journalist is very hard, but also very interesting job. If you are lucky, you can meet famous pop stars, actors… But you have to be very lucky and you have to find good newspapers for that. If you like this job and you have passion, you can handle with bad directors, and you can stay for days in your office, then you have the true heart of journalist.

My personal idol
Roger Federer as well as known as: “Swiss maestro”, “Fedex express” was born in Basel 08. 08. 1981. Today is called the best tennis player in the history, with many record breakings. This is what do we all know about this living legend. But what about his personal life, his life outside the court?
When he was younger he was known as bad- tempered boy. He used to smash his racquets, have verbal fights with chair umpires (tennis referee). This is quiet unusual for the probably most stable tennis player today. He says that he was under big pressure in his younger days because others had big expectations about him. The pressure was released when he won a match against Pete Sampras, Federer`s idol and also one of the best players ever played this game. After that he won the Wimbledon, the most prestigious tennis tournament in the world, and that was just the beginning of his great career.
He is known as UNESCO`s ambassador of good will. He wanted to help the children from South Africa, because his mother, Lynette, was born there. He visited South Africa in 2006 and spent some time the South African children, also understanding his way of hard life and their culture. He formed the ”Roger Federer foundation” to help disadvantaged people and to promote sport. He wanted to help the victims of hurricane Katrina so he auctioned his racquet. He organised charity match “Hit for Haiti” for helping the victims of Haiti earthquake.
He is married to Mirka Vavrinec and he has two daughters. This changed his life forever, and it is clearly visible on the court because he is now even calmer and he really enjoys playing tennis right now. He knows three languages: English (because his mother is from South Africa), German and French, and also he knows a little bit of Swedish and Italian. He likes strawberry ice cream, rock music, and making jokes with others. He fells very comfortable when he talks at press- conference and that’s why he is popular in the circle of journalists. You can also ask him to take a picture with him or ask him for his autograph card (I know this fact is right, I tried it), and that is why he is popular wherever he goes.
Personally, I like him because of his elegance, style of play, and his calmness at the tennis court. I remember the first when I watched the tennis match on TV. He played tennis that day, and when I saw that game for the first time in my life, I knew that he is my truly hero, and i knew tennis was the right sport for me. And guess what, I was not wrong!

Talking about student society
For me the most important student activity is practising sport. Is there anything more wonderful than getting out of house, breathing fresh air, and playing sport you really like? For me the most intertesting sport is tennis. I can remember that ordinary day when I saw that game. I was fascinated with that shots, especially because my idol was playing there. Those angles, precision, speed, for me, is the most magnificent thing I have ever seen.
If you want to start playing tennis, just as I did, than I recommend you to start this great journey in one town club. You will make new friendships, have fun with new people, and you will even learn something. You will be an average tennis player, but you will be in great circle of friends, and you will be able to play with them whenever you want.
It is nice to relax yourself, but what if you have greater ambitions, if you want to start competing in national and international tournaments? Than the stakes are a little bit higher. You have to be aware that you have to say no to snacks, fast food, coca cola. You also have to be aware that you won`t always be able to go to cinema with your friends. I understand this words very well beacuse I have tasted them. But for me this renouncement has huge prize. If you work hard you will soon be able to win tournaments, and wining them will be great reward for you and your hard work. And you will also be able to participate in international tournaments.
International tournaments are great way to improve your mind in crucial moments, but even more important is that you will literally make bunch of friends, and you will be connected with them forever. There are also many possibilities just as participating in international tennis camps, wich is also a great way for understanding different cultures.
Anyway, it is not important what kind of sport are you going to start practising. Tennis, basketball, football… actualy it doesn`t matter. If you are happy, if you enjoy in it, than that is the whole point because the most important thing of every student activiy is to have some time for true, true relaxsation.

Using Internet
Can social networking help us or it will soon destroy us?
We all know that Intrnet has many social networking communities like Facebook, My space, Twiter… We all think that is an ordinary place where we can meet our friends, talk with them, share our fellings on „Wall“. But most of us never thought about how dangerous can it be, and what are the consequences of using them.
Peronally I like using only Facebook, because most of my friends have Facebook accounts so I can be always in touch with people all around world. We all live happy „Social networking life“. Fortunately we haven`t got any privacy problems, yet. But what about others, usual peoples, wich ordinary life become, their worst nightmare.
Today on Facebook we have lots of abusing, especially children abusing. We know that we usually argue with our friends, but in my opinion the worst place to argue is on social networking sites.
Imagine this situation: You have a verbal fight on “Wall” with your best friend. Then whole your class joins you and argues along with you. This happened to eleven-year-old girl from the USA. And that was not the end. Many older students threaten her, and abused her privacy. She told later to the local newspaper that she got hundreds of chain letters.
Can you imagine what did this poor girl had to suffer to get over this horrible scene. It was also her fault, because she shouldn’t start complaining on Internet. So next time when you start having verbal fights on Facebook, just tell that person that you want to talk with him alone in the school, or somewhere else, not on Facebook.
Hacker can also destroy your privacy. They have many methods how to hack your password, how to send you many chain letters… I suggest you not to click button:”Accept friend request” except you are not two hundred percents sure that that person won’t abuse you while you are having good fun with real friends.
Social networking can turn us to asocial beings very easily. This happens usually to someone who doesn’t have many friends, or somebody who is quiet shy, so that one thinks that Facebok is his: ”safe place”. Want my suggestion? Facebook can never replace talking to friends face to face. If you are talking with your friends live, than you will be more communicative, and you will use more expressions than you use it on chat. For example you won’t have to write happy face when you want to express that you are happy. You can just smile. Isn’t that easy?
Facebook has also his good sides. You can talk with friends far away from you for free, and you can use also other Facebook facilities just as: games, applications… But remember this: you are the one who will decide:” Should I use Facebook correctly, or if I don’t take care of my account, someone can do something bad to me!” The choice is yours!
