ANNA PROVINI – A SWITZERLAND GIRL
Anna Provini is a Swiss girl which knows four languages. During the interview she was a little bit shy but
full of enthusiasm…
-Interviewer: Do you have a brother or a sister?
-Anna: I have both. My sister is 8 and my brother is 18.And I’m 12.
-Interviewer: How did you hear about our country?
-Anna: When I was little, my grandparents used to come to Dubrovnik. My grandpa is from Belgrade and my mum was here ones, and she loved it, so I came here too.
-Interviewer: What do you like about this place, but you don’t have it in Switzerland?
-Anna: I really like Boka bay.
-Interviewer: What’s unusual about our people for you, something you don’t see very often in your country?
-Anna: It’s interesting to me the way they talk. They show their emotions while talking and sometimes it looks like they want to fight.
-Interviewer: What do you think: are more difficult schools in Switzerland or here?
-Anna: I don’t know about schools here…
-Interviewer: Was it your decision to learn all those languages or your parents had some influence in it?
-Anna: I decided to learn those languages by my self. I think it’s easier to communicate with other people if you know more than one language.
-Interviewer: Do your friends know languages as much as you?
-Anna: Some do, and some don’t.
-Interviewer: What language do you speak with your family?
-Anna: I speak Swiss-German with my parents and brother and sister.

-Anna: I hate doing my homework, I hate the war and fighting between the people.
-Interviewer: When do you usually get up for school and when does your school start?
-Anna: I usually get up at 06:30 and my school starts at 08:00 o’clock.
-Interviewer: How many classes do you usually have in one day?
-Anna: It deepens what day it is. It goes like this: 9 | 2 | 4 | 6 ?
-Interviewer: Did you join any after-school clubs?
-Anna: No, I don’t have time for it. People usually come to our school from different parts of Swiss and our school finishes late so there’s no time for after-school clubs…
-Interviewer: Well, that’s it. Thanks for having some time for us, Anna.
-Anna: It was not an issue, thanks for inviting me…
